I found the internet website www.hcinc.biz thru an Ebay link and called the toll free number given on the website. i spoke with "Jack" actual name is Joaquim DeSousa. he also uses the alias "Joe".

The company was selling the Triton 9100 ATMs new condition for $2695/ machine with a promise of 2 free machines with an order of 10. This pricing can be verified on their website, also note all shipping and taxes were to be included in that price. Not having dealt with this company before i asked about buying 5 and after receipt would order the remaining 5 at which time they would add the 2 free.

It was all agreed to via phone w/ written contract/receipt to follow by mail. The salesperson asked that i wire the money into the business acct directly or use a local branch of the company's bank to speed up processing. i agreed to deposit the money via official check into the company's account at a local branch where i live, the company HCI is located in Baltimore, Maryland.

I deposited an official check for $13475 ($2695 x 5) into HCI's Wachovia acct (#2000023254048, routing #054001220) on 11/29/06. The shipment of 5 ATMs was promised to arrive on 12/7/06. It did not. After many calls and e-mails and many assurances the new machines were on the way i finally on 12/29/06 got a shipment of 4 (not 5 as promised) OLD junk ATMs (not new as promised) that HCI bought from another ATM seller's junk pile or from someoone on EBay for a few hundred dollars.

The machines did not work and had many parts broken or missing. Since then i have called HCI several times to demand a refund or deliver the new machines promised, all to no avail. HCI no longer answers my calls or e-mails. I have been waiting patiently for many weeks and in that time i have found several others who also have been scammed by HCI in an identical manner.

The company is a complete scam, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AGREE TO PAY HIM FIRST, even by credit card, he uses some offshore credit card company that wont honor any US disputes. Be warned Jack is a ripoff artist i know a half dozen others who also have been scammed.
