HDI Connections & HSN Improvements Made catolog purchase, got charged from TWO companies!!! Roanoke Virginia
I made a purchase from HSN Improvements Catolog. They in turn gave my information, INCLUDING my credit card to a sister company, HDI Connections. When you look up HDI, you see they are a home improvement company, so the charge seemed like something I would have made, but I knew I didn't. This kind of thing could go easily unnoticed.
HDI Connections then charged me $85, causing me an overdraft fee of $33 at my bank. This was a membership charge, which means if I had not caught onto it, I would have probably been charged monthly for as long as they could get away with it.
When I called them, they had no record of me, no memebership number and couldn't tell me why I was charged. I had to ask to speak to a supervisor, the only one who seemed to speak english, who finally found a record of me only after looking up my credit card number.
She promised me a refund within the next two days, but as for the overdraft, guess I'm out of luck. What a SCAM!!!
