HDI Connections Unauthorized credit card charge ripoff Chicago Illinois
In checking the recent transactions of one of my credit cards, I noticed a charge of $109.95 from HDI Connections. I immediately called this company at their toll free number and told them that I would protest this charge and that I never enrolled. I was given a song and dance that it was offered through another company but the representative could not tell me which company.
I said that I was fed up with this kind of business activity and wanted those charges credited. I was told that will happen in the next 2 to 3 days. Since I have the employee name and id #, I assured him I would be checking my transactions. I also contacted the credit card company and they have noted this.
This company is some "unknown" service and I'm just glad I keep track of my credit cards and charges through the Internet. Look out for this company appearing on your statements.
