Hdpublishing/Net Detective DO NOT JOIN THIS SCAM OF A "SERIVCE", IT SERVES ONLY THEMSELVES! They must be taken off the net! All you read here is true plus! It's set up so you pay before you immediately realize you've opened your bank account to crooks. Don't believe endorsements! "CONSUMERS-GUIDE.ORG" likely is hdpub, their e-mail addresss' are bogus! I found immediately that Net Detectives and HDPublishing is the worst of scams! Something I have never come across before. When I tried to call them right away to cancel my membership, I could not get through. I called my bank immediately to dispute the payment and will do what I can to expose these jerks. I have to wait until the draft is actually taken from my account to try to stop them My main concern is that there is nothing to stop them from continuing to take money from my account. My next concern is that these people are blatently getting away with this in a clear predator fashion. How can there be a site with all the information on it such as Rip Off and no one has gotten them off the internet as yet? I have never gotten involved in something like this and just got up the courage to try to find a lost family member.
I searched other sites but did not join. There was so much more info. on other sites without joining and that I know is valid, than there is on Net Detectives. I would not have tried Net Detectives but for the endorsemsnt from Consumer-Guide.org which has also turned out to be a scam and are not able to be reached via either e-mail address they provide. I was only given 2 names with the wrong middle initial and addresses with no ability to provide details such as age or social security numbers to narrow the search. It appears that one would have to pay 10. more to get everything that is falsely stated on the home page for 29.
In saying that there is a 3 yr availability to all the services, I did not find a place that had a start or end date for these services, and nothing that addressed the possibility of an automatic renewal. Scary, especially now that I have found the rip off site and what has happened to others like me. The "agreement" is already checked and not easy to locate until after the fact. Then I find that they want us to wait 30 days while they "help" and then 60 days to file some kind of legal action. What kind of 90 day refund is that? Isn't there a standard 3 day time period to change your mind when signing on for something like this? Like I got into this just today! Very bad energy here. We need to do what is necessary and contact whomever we need to and shut them down now! My bet is that the source is not from this country. People like this grab what they can and dissappear when it gets too hot, and they need to be fried now! I can't believe I've wasted so much time on this crap trying to put a bandaid on an accidental and very toxic contact.
