We would like to draw your attention to a supplier named Heal Force Bio-Meditech Holding Ltd., located in Shanghai, China with head office in Hong Kong.  They  力康生物醫療科技集團 healforce.com/en/) “ used to be one of our suppliers on pulse oximeters.

Needless to say this is a nasty company that needs to be very careful when dealing with them especially when you represent your customers to purchase products from them. They claimed themselves a big company, but the way they handle is really in doubt. Our company leant a big lesson in early 2015 for the pulse oximeters we purchased. A painful lesson we got that has driven us very cautious when dealing with suppliers in China going forward.

Their normal practice is to override your company, purposely emailing to your customers directly to routinely review project status; promotion, introducing existing or new products that by all means to grasp attraction, trying to set up a direct dialog. More seriously, without notifying your company, Heal Force keep emailing your customers to remind placing of new orders, etc. with straight evidence.

When they were questioned why doing so, they just straightly denied.

In time when your customer replied to them in just a diplomatic approach, they aggressively put everything on for reply, sent them offers, product promotion, etc. obviously aiming at dealing directly, then took orders from them eventually as well. When they were further questioned with evidence available, the feedback is “this is normal, no fault.”

Apparently this type of company never cares honesty, integrity, aiming at jumping over you to deal directly with your customers, and insultingly claim... “still does it right”.

We really feel regret to our sourcing team that unfortunately engaged with this sort of company, we claimed “An Insult to China Suppliers” and more seriously, directly jeopardized the image of China being the world’s major manufacturing hub.

Learning from this painful lesson, our company has been re-engineering our sourcing approach by implementing a more stringent and effective sourcing/supplier management program over vendor verification and certification, etc., to enable accomplishing our sourcing goal and more importantly protect our customers’ interest and faith.
