HEALTH CARE CREDIT UNION ASSOCIATION PAID PREMIUMS AND NO COVERAGE Boca Raton Florida
I slipped on the stairs at home and broke my ankle. The company said they do not cover accidents and it is right in my hand book. I have the plan 5000 and they are not paying for anything. I think that is one total rifoff.

Kenny,
Your plan 5000 definitely has accident coverage for things like the emergency room, doctor's fees, xrays, medications, even a boot or crutches, if you need them.
It does not cover chiropractic or physical therapy. I do not know what you were attempting to have coverage for.
Also, the accident policy is written by Guaranteed Trust Life. If you submitted a claim to the wrong company (Pan American Life covers much of the other medical benefits), it could have been denied for that reason.
I don't have your last name or Member number, so I cannot contact you directly. PLEASE CALL ME PERSONALLY at (561) 886-8775 so that I can be sure you get the correct assistance for filing your claim.
Sincerely,
