I wanted to remove my daughter from our Healthcare.gov plan effective April 1st.

prior to April 1st I tried to use the web site but could not figure out how to do it, so I called the phone support.

I told the gent what I wanted to do. keep the same plan, drop my daughter effective April 1st. The agent said he could do it for me. During the changes he asked me questions like this was a new application. I restated that i wanted to keep the same poilcy and just drop my Daughter April 1st.  After all of the agent’s work he said that there was nowhere to enter an effective date and he'd have to submit the application to see what happens. Then he read some info to me. He said that since the change is beign made after March 15th I'd need to pay for my daughter's coverage for April but would get the supplementary payment for only myself and wife for April. I asked for a supervisor.

Monique Lee came on the phone and said she was a supervisor. She said that the agent should have told me to call back APRIL 1st to make the changes as changes are effective immediately. She could not change it back and  that is that.

I was mis informed, their staff is not informed- but my family winds up being at risk during the gap from now till April 1. That is if I believe what I was told last.  I'm just not sure of anything I'm told by these people. Not a thing.
