This company called me from somewhere in Florida..After getting the details I had lost my health insurance at work, I needed something like Blue Cross/Blue Sheild...

Christine was very nice and helpful she told me about a PPO  zeo deductible   Preventative mentainiance 75% off at Doctors office in the network

We looked up my doctor and hospital and all was in network

This would be a group plan for diabetics.

$10 copay on perscriptions  Something about $25.00 a month called Hope

Dental, Vision Hearing covered up to 60% and $15,000 life insurance.    Total $202 a month.

IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THEN DON'T Run as fast as you can..

So far I have found everything to be untrue

$0 on lab work....I'm a diabetic I get lab work every three months

Radiology...$256 total they paid $51.30

Mammogram...271.00  They paid 67.75

Dr visit  $161  they paid $75

Yes, I called to ask why so little?  That is when I discovered I DID NOT have health insurance

I went to Walmart's today for Lantus....$500 for one 28 day vial     HOLY COW!  I'm going to die!  I can't afford the medicine.

That discount card they give you online to print out..............NOTHING!    In fact you pay a higher price to use that card.  So I used my own cash at Walmart to get a blood sugar monitor and 2 Vials of strips  $103.00

$33.00 a bottle for strips?  Monitor $29.xx with Optimum One 14.xx without using just cash.

This sucks!

Called Nay Parker at Nationwide..complained...mean lady, no sympathy....Health Insurance has high deductibles with high premiums.  Which would you rather have....uhm (I already had thought of that acturally)  but that was before I knew my Lantus was costing me $500.00 a month.

I'd rather have Health Insurance....and use my credits from work.

The discount plan is through Optimum one  but the explaination of benefits come form Freedom Life Insurance Company of America  Fort Worth, Texas

I am furious!
