Hearsay Transcription - DeAnn McBride never paid, didn't fulfill her side of the contract, multiple excuses Internet
July 24, 2009 I signed a contract to work as an independent contractor (medical transcription) for Hearsay Transcription. I worked through October of 2009 and was given various and multiple excuses over the ensuing pay periods as to why I still was not being paid, and many promises stating when I would be (which never occurred). Now, as of January 4, 2010 I have not received a penny and DeAnn McBride (owner) has not responded to my last emails. There are several other ladies who worked for Hearsay who are in the same situation as I am, if not worse. All we ask is that DeAnn fulfill her side of the contract she signed and pay us for all the work we did for her. Cumulatively, we are owed thousands of dollars.

Several months after I stopped working for Hearsay, having had no success on my own, I enlisted the help of a lawyer relative to get me the money owed. That did the trick and quite quickly, too. Without that legal action I doubt I would have ever seen the money.

I was just wondering if you ever recieved payment from this company. I did a bit of work for this company for a brief period in 2008, but did recieve payment, albeit it wasn't very much, but it was very late. I decided to part ways with this company after several suspicious events.
