Last year, my wife and I enrolled in a 10 year annual Total Body CT screening program for $4595 with $299 annual service fees with Heart Check America and financed through Chase Advance Health Plans. We just learned that this company owned by Sheila Haddad and son David have closed operations and disco phones at all locations due to investiagations in IL, SC, NV, CO and now CA. We have filed a complaint with the CA A/G's office and have contacted our local bar association for an attorney. Thus far, we have not established a list of other victims and would appreciate updates/findings.

To all the California victims of HCA, as of September 26, attorney George O. West III has filed a class action lawsuit against HCA, CHA, and Conrad has been filed in the LAC Superior Court Please go to his website for details and updates. If you have been following on the internet, you might already know that legal action has already taken place in IL, NV, CO, D.C against Heart Check America, but nothing in CA. A $3.2 million dollar judgemenet has been rendered in CO, not that anyone will be payed. I have filed comlaints with the CA A/G, FTC, CA Dept. of Health and Human Welfare offices. CA A/G sent me a reply that I should seek legal counsel on my own. I would like to correspond with any other CA victims who have or would like to speak to a consumer fraud attorney and go after these crooks. The least we can hope for is to void all contractual obligations with HCA and Chase Advance Health Plans. If you are game, let me know-idavidbrandow@ca.rr.com.
