Complaint Review: Heartland Home Finance

I am a former Heartland employee (I was not a loan officer or processor, so I did not make or approve the loans). After our division closed, I was fortunate to find a new job (albeit at lower pay), but I had extreme difficulty because of the negative publicity surrounding Heartland and the mortgage industry. Many employers did not want to hire me because I had worked at a mortgage company, and they even said so. Some of them even laughed.

Why every loan officer and Branch Manager who ever worked there is not in jail is completely beyond me. Those scumbags ruined a lot of people's lives and show no remorse. In fact, they have even bragged about it! I have a solution for the mortgage crisis - instead of having the federal government pay for the mess, have the former loan officers and their managers pay for it.
