I AM A VICTIM OF HEART HOME FINANCE. THEY CALLED ME, I DID NOT CONTACT THEM. AL SANFORD WHO IS A LOAN OFFICER THERE CALLED ME FAITHFULLY EVERYDAY AND TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD ONLY TAKE 15 DAYS TO CLOSE ON MY REFINANCE. I SIGNED 2 APPLICATIONS AND FAXED THEM BACK TO HIM. HE TOLD ME THAT MY LOAN HAD ALREADY BEEN APPROVED AND THAT I HAD A GREAT CREDIT SCORE AND THAT MY CREDIT WAS OKAY BECAUSE I HAD BEEN PAYING ON TIME AND ALL I HAD TO DO WAS PAY FOR MY APPRAISAL.

HE EXPLAINED HOW THEY WERE GOING TO GIVE ME BACK AT LEAST $1000.00 AFTER THE CLOSING AND WOULD PAY MY REALESTATE TAXES AND TOWNHOME ASSOC FEES AND WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY THEM..HE FOUND THE APPRAISER, SHE CAME OVER AND I PAID HER $300.00.

ALL OF A SUDDEN I WAS CALLING DAILY AND HAD NOT HEARD OR COULD NOT GET IN TOUCH WITH MR SANFORD. I LEFT MESSAGES DAILY. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE EMPLOYEE WHO SAID THAT THEY WILL NOT CALL YOU BACK AND WILL HOLD YOUR PAPER WORK.

I STARTED WITH THIS CO IN FEBRUARY. IN LATE MARCH EARLY APRIL I WAS GETTING THE RUN AROUND SAYING THAT THE UNDERWRITERS HAD MY APP AND THAT HE WAS GETTING WITH THEM TO SEE WHAT THE STATUS WAS. I FINALLY SPOKE WITH AL SANFORD LATE APRIL AND WAS TOLD THAT MY CREDIT SCORE HAD DROPPED AND THAT HE WANTED TO GO LINE BY LINE WITH ME AND FOR ME TO CALL HIM SO THIS COULD BE DONE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT UNUSUAL FOR THIS TO HAPPEN AND THAT HE HAD SOME OTHER CLIENTS WHOSE CREDIT SCORE HAD DONE THE SAME THING. I ASKED HIM WHY HAD THEY TAKEN SO LONG AND WHY WAS I NOT TOLD IN THE BEGINNING THAT THE UNDERWRITTERS WOULD PULL ANOTHER CREDIT REPORT (WHICH IS UNUSUAL ONCE YOU SO CALLED HAVE BEEN APPROVED)AND PULL THEM FROM ALL 3 CREDIT CO.'S. HE SIAD TO ME THAT THAT IS WHAT THEY DO.

I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THEM SINCE AND NOW I AM OUT OF $300.00 FOR AN APPRAISAL THAT I CANNOT USE AND STILL DID NOT GET MY HOME REFINANCED. PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO IF SOMEONE FROM THIS COMPANY CALLS YOUR HOME HANG DIRECTLY UP.

Typical-- Heartland Does Not Allow It's Employees to Work Properly

I took a job with this place-- BIG mistake! As an experience Loan Officer, I knew the job and how much work it took to do it properly. I quickly found out that everything I was told about the place was pure B.S. They expect their employees to spend more than half of each day telemarketing-- which leaves precious little time to give your customers the service they deserve and get YOUR job done. And, Loan Officers are given no salary-- so, they are telemarketing for free. They expect you to call the same person so many times that it borders on harassment-- if it were me on the other end, I would sue.

I completely fail to understand how they are still in business-the reputation has got to be horrible, what with the barrage of phone calls to each "applicant" and the lack of customer service.
