Complaint Review: Heartland Home Finance

Let me start off by saying that this place is a f*cking joke! I am an ex-employee from Heartland. Not only did they lie about the job when I got hired, but they lie to the customers as well. One manager, Steve Forsythe used to tell me to quote the cutomer one rate and then raise it once the deal started to go through. Along with that, Mr. Forsythe likes to use certain appraisers because he knows that they'll value a home for more than it's worth to get the loan through. This is an illegal practice BTW. If he was ever investigated, he could lose his license. I'm quite sure as an assistant vice president of the company, he wouldn't want that.

Ok! Now onto a*****e number two! Let's talk about Ron Baker who was our regional manager. This f_cker has never been a loan officer and is a regional manager of a mortgage company! How did this happen?? I wish that I could get his salery to do absolutely nothing. He yells at the LO's all day long to get applications. I"m not exaggerating either. I don't think I've seen him do anything else.

The Bottom line is if you wanna work there, be prepered to be yelled at, belittled, and very stressed out. If you wanna do business with them, be prepared to be potentially lied to and ran around. Beleive me, you won't get your loan closed in 10 days like they tell you.

Finally, the building in Middleburg is a total s**+thole. Please find another place to store all of the files so they are not in the open for anyone to see. It is very sad to see how confidential customer info is mishandled.
