Complaint Review: Heather Novak

Late AUGUST 2017, after a customer of smart stop self storage was robbed in a large unit (just the front). Inventory was taken of remaining items. Justin Cartwright the manager misrepresented Heather Novak and her boyfriend accomplice "Jason" as a "business" to consignment sell and consolidate items. This was all fake set up con job. The reality was Justin Cartwright would send in these vulture scavengers to loot abandoned units for free (probably for a kick back) , nothing more. This is no "business" with any clients. Heather and Jason where caught selling f countless items in excess of $15,000 not declared (imbezzling). Than when granted access to a personal unit to insert items, they completely robbed the unit of all priceless personal items, lifelong collections of items from a little boy, personal wardrobe, ripping medallions of box sets. Just real vultures. Justin, Heather and Jason are spotted smoking together, being friendly, the planning/financial split of the robberies can only be speculative. One thing is it was all under the nose of Justin Cartwright and he only later reveals Heather Novak never did any legitimate "business" when questioned by police. He only referred to scavenge abandoned units and set up this customer whom filed criminal and civil charges as the first fake customer/victim. Countless evidence of Heather posting stolen items on offer up, Craig's list. Selling high end collectibles in the ghetto and outdoor swap meets down to shady back alley deals in parking lots all caught on video. Worse of all, these victims had a personal unit that was completely robbed by them nothing intended for sale on top of theft/conceiling of consignment items. They look like meth users. Heather looks like she sits around picking her face all day driving a car with rope holding down the trunk with her homeless looking boyfriend in jeans looking unwashed for years. Their Facebook photos do no justice to the true form of these thieving criminals. Avoid them, contact the police if you have also been victimized by Heather Novak or reffered by Justin Cartwright to others that resulted in robbery. Smart stop self storage just covers for them and farther victimizes the victims with bad attitudes and threats of eviction for criminal action against their staff that sets up these robberies.
