Complaint Review: Heatlh Choices & More

I ordered products on 7/09/09. On the website it states the products would be delivered within 7 business days. When I did not receive the items, I called the phone number listed on the website. No one answered the phone so I left a message to call me back. I did not get a call back so I sent an email to the address from the confirmation email I was sent. I also sent an email to the one listed on the website of info@hcmnutrition.com but it returned as undeliverable.

I called again several times, but this time the mail box was full each time I called so I could not leave a message. I had a similar situation just happen before and figured it is another scam to get a persons money. The website is very professional. On the About Us page it says the following:

I thought at first the reason for the delay in shipping was because of being a smaller company. When I would go on line to check the status of the order, it indicated it was still in the processing stage so I did not get any tracking information. I found it strange that no one has contacted me and it will be a month since I placed the order in 7 days. When I checked the status of the order again, it now states that the www.hcmnutrition.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 8/1/2009 7:59 PM.

I also did a search on line with the address 96 Linwood Plaza #420 Fort Lee, NJ 07024 that directed me to the BBB. There were only 2 complaints which were reported and it indicated this website came to their attention in May of 2009. The rating for HCM Nutrition was an F which is the worst you can get.

I have already called my credit card company to dispute the charges. I would suggest that a person not use their debit card from their bank to make purchases unless your bank stands behind fraudulent charges. My credit card company is excellent in dealing with this type of situation. It is sad that there are individuals who want to scam people out of their hard earned money, but I guess this is to be expected since not everyone is honest. Please post any additional situations you may personally have had with this company so others can be aware of it.
