Under the direction of Brian Smith and Rodney Coats the
owners of the Heaven Sent Properties. They advised Harold Mitchell of Harold Mitchell Reality to not renew my lease.

The Heaven Sent Property owners managed my property like
common slum lords. They refused to fix extensive repairs
although I paid them faithfully for 2 solid years at $500.00 a month. I have rented from them since May of 2000. They have amassed more than $12,000 dollars and I could barely get my lawn mowed while I was down on leave during the month of July 4, 2004.

The most troubling part is I'm a United States soldier in Iraq currently. I am deployed fighting for my country and these two business entities have given me nothing but grief. I want these third world country mentality business owners who profits before customer satisfaction exposed.

Harold Mitchell is trying to evict my fiancee and my two
young children at this moment. Although I have paid for
this month in rent. He wants my family out of his building.

It has been pure hell on me because I can't get any legal
action to stop these monsters.

Get your chain of command involved TODAY.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Wed, December 08, 2004

First of all, thank you very much for your service to our country.

Next, as a retired officer myself, here's what I want you to do:

1. Get your chain of command involved TODAY. Tell your platoon leader or platoon sergeant that you need to speak with the first sergeant AND the company commander ASAP. It's an emergency. This is obviously causing you personal anguish, it's impacting your ability to perform your duties, and it's making life hell for your family. Tell both of them your situation and that you need to get to JAG immediately. If they are good leaders at all (especially the first sergeant), they will NOT take kindly to having one of their people messed with. I certainly wouldn't have. Better still, see if your first sergeant will accompany you to see the JAG officer. That would be great.

2. Though you are on active duty, you might also be from the Guard or Reserves. If this is the case, do everything listed above AND the following as well. Have someone (family, close friend, whatever) get in touch with the proper government agencies in whatever state the property is located in. You want to get to the Department of Military Affairs (or whatever it's called there) and you want to get to the Attorney General's office - probably the consumer affairs division.

3. Depending on what JAG says, consider going to the local media where the property is located. Sad to say, but this kind of story at Christmas is simply a tragedy. I feel fairly certain that you'll get immediate attention. In fact, I'll get involved if you like. If you will post further details, I'll call your local newspaper from here in New York and give a reporter your information. Or, if Editor feels it would be better to relay it through them, that's fine as well. I'm sorry that I cannot give out my email address, but I will still be glad to help if someone will get me the info.

4. Finally, keep your chin up and be strong for your family. They need you - and even though you are miles away, you can still be their rock. And, with any luck at all, you'll get alot of help from people here.

God bless you.....
