I bought a male puppy and two months later we decided to buy a female. We went back and picked one out and confirmed the price with Wayne for $850.00. They told us we could put puppy on hold until the next day ,so we did. The next morning we arrive with the kids to pickup puppy and found out the price had been raised to $2500.00. So we left disappointed.

WE DECIDED TO WAIT A WHILE.

Another three months go by and we go back pick out a puppy and confirmed the price with Wayne. He told me the puppy that we picked out was $900.00 and since we owned one of their dogs already he would give me a $50.00 discount. This bringing the puppy to $850.00. I told him I would be back with my family the next morning to buy the puppy, and yes they put the puppy on hold. Next day an employee told me that another guy wanted the puppy I picked . So we went into the office and Wayne told me that the price had increased to $2500.00. We could not believe it was happening again. please reply

Get it in writing

After you were burned the first time, I would be very wary of trusting them again. The second time you should have left a deposit and got a statement in writing as to the cost of the dog and when it would be picked up. This way you could go to small claims court if they tried to pull anything.

Also, if you wanted the puppy, why did you need to wait until the next day to pick it up?

Hi, what kind of dog were you buying? Is this Heidelburg Farm place a pet story or a private home?
