Approximately 3 years ago I purchased a table and 4 chairs from Heilig-Meyers in Blue Springs, Missouri. Less than 3 months after using the table the finish started coming off. I went back to the store and told them about the problem. The salesman that I dealt with asked me if I had the receipt. I replied that I didn't have it with me and he said that he couldn't help me. I was told that there was only a 30 day guarantee on the table without the receipt. I told him that I had it at home and he still gave me the impression that I was bothering him.

This was the first and only time I had purchased something from this store. After this experience I will never ever purchase something from Heilig-Meyers again.

The table that was originally delivered to me was damaged. Two corners of the table were chipped off and were at an angle. I went back to the store and they got me a table with no damage. This should have told me the kind of company this was.

The salesman was rude and seemed to be put out when I told him of my problem. Everything was good so long as he was selling and when a problem arose then he didn't want to see any part of me
