After emailing 3 times - "why haven't you posted my payment?" Only to hear - "We haven't received it, but wait till Friday, It may post then."

I finally called to find out, after receiving your check, you have to wait 14 business days to show your Helio Account paid. During those 14 days, be aware your service will stop and you will be charge a late fee.

Despite emailing copies of my cashed check (which would of made the payment EARLY), they hold the $$ in their account - just to cut your service and make you pay monthly late fee.

This company is screwed up and their "14 day policy" is not disclosed on the Terms and Conditions on the Contract. I like the fact the 30 day guarantee omits the fact you don't get the invoice till 45 days later.

So to beat their system, you should either calculate what you may owe to them 60 days prior and pay them 60 days ahead, by credit card (so they can have the $$ in their hot little hands at that very moment). Disclaimer: Even so ... YOU WILL STILL HAVE TO PAY LATE FEES and a CHANCE YOUR SERVICE WILL STOP.

I wrote to their CEO (Sky D. Dayton and his phone number is 1-310-445-7000 x8900), Better Business Bureau, Governor Schwarzenegger, Senator Barbara Boxers, Senator Diane Feinstein & my local Rep.

I'm so fustrated with this company - but am locked in for another 22 months.
