I found hellodresses.com in a google search looking for inexpensive tea length wedding dresses.  My wedding was not formal, so I did not want to spend a lot of money on a dress.  I placed my order on March 23, on March 27th I received an email back from AENT, the company that charges the credit cards for this merchant.  The amount was $169.00.  I wrote AENT back stating that I received no confirmation from hellodresses.com, and asked if there was any info that they could provide.  They told me that the merchant had 14 days to ship the merchandise out, but I should receive it in 20 days.

That seemed fair enough if the merchant is overseas.  Well, 14 days came and went and I never received tracking info.  I went to the website to get contact into and found live chat.  I told the person I was chatting with that I had recieved no confirmation or tracking into and that I was concerned I wouldn't receive my dress in time.  She sent me the tracking info and said that it would be sent out on April 13.

The 13th was approaching and I still had no tracking into, so I called the company which had a U.S. phone number.  Of course no one answered, so I left a message stating that if I didn't hear anything I was going to talk legal action.  A woman called me back around 6 or 7 p.m. that evening and told me the dress would be shipped on the 13th.  Then the next day I had an email that stated the dress would be shipped on the 20th.  I emailed AENT again to let them know about the situation and they told me to let them know if I hear nothing.

I waited until the April the 23rd adn true to this scam company's nature, I received nothing. I emailed the company AENT and let them know that I was purusing the matter legally and filng a report with every ripoff reporting type agency that I can find and I am holding them responsible for providing credit charing services to a scam registry.  I found out that this company is a scam through search engines.

I called my bank, let them know the situation, they temporarily took the charge off, but are giving the merchant 40 days to comply with providing the charge back to me.  If they disagree, it is going to be a formal process.  My wedding is in two months and I now have NO dress and if it had not been for Capital One taking the charge off, I would have had no money for another one =(  This has been really crappy and I hope no one else ever has to go through it.

I would like to update my complaint on Hellodresses.com.  Hellodresses.com shipped me a BEAUTIFUL dress of a very fine quality.  The dress arrived one month after the order was placed, via DHL.  I was afraid that the dress quality would be poor, but much to my surprise, it is beautiful and I am thoroughly pleased with the overall quality of the material and craftsmenship.

Hellodresses.com is not a scam organization.  They do need to improve their shipment information by letting people know that it may one month to ship back order items, as the lengthy shipping process is a problem for people who have events coming up soon, rather than later, as I did.  However, the dress I received was perfect, did not need to be altered, only steamed, so I am pleased with it and will be able to wear it for my event.

I informed the company that I filed a report with ripoffreport.com and that I wanted my money back.  They sent me an email that stated that the dress was being shipped via UPS and included a tracking number.  I went to the UPS website and of course, the tracking number is bogus.
