 Complaint Type: Billing or Collection Issues Description of Complaint: On 3/26/17, I contacted HelloMD.com to have my recommendation renewed. The first misleading thing on their website is the price. On one page the price is $39.00, but when it's time to enter your credit card information, the price increases to $59.00. AFTER my card was charged, a window pops up that says there aren't any doctors available, please check back in 15 minutes. After 3 hours of checking back every 15 minutes, I decided to start an instant chat with a representative, who told me they were about to close and I could check back the next day and start the whole waiting process all over again, or I could make an appointment. However the earliest appointment was 2 weeks away. Veronica, the representative told me she could refund my money if I didn't want to wait 2 weeks, and I agreed. Long story short, it's been a month and I haven't been refunded a penny. I've spoken to HelloMD several times and I keep getting the same story "Oh well, we sent it back on our end..., so tough luck" Bank of America has received anything from HelloMD. So who do I believe a start up company, struggling to keep their heads above water, or a respected financial institution that's been around for over 100 years?
