Complaint Review: hellorelaxation.com

We came from overseas and rented a short term very expensive apartment for our vacation using internet, we find this company called hellorelaxation.com. We did not pay any attention, as why they did not accept major credit cards and why there was no address on the website except stating that the main office was in Los Angele.

Anyway, when we got there, the apartment was not ready as promissed or showed in the picture and since we arrived late, we were tired and did not pay attention to the apartment since we were tired and flight lasted over 10 hours. The young Philipino lady by the name of Mary we met and had previously communicated by e mail was there and gave us the keys to the apartment and collected almost $5,000.00 In cash which included a refundable deposit around $1,150.00.

The next day we realized that apartment was not cleaned at all and there were dog foods around left from previous resident which had a small dog according to the neighbors. The apartment was dirty, with lots of needed repairs. We contacted the same lady and she assured us that it was cleaned and when we insisted for her to come and see, she said that she was too busy but will send the cleaning people again. After several calls, we received an e mail that they will be there the next day to clean and when they did not showed up we told her that this is not acceptable and wanted to speak to her supervisor. She then turned out to be very rude a d stated that she is not in charge of cleaning and repairs.

We were promissed that all will be ready similar to the picture of their website.

We made a mistake by not checking the physical address of the company and why they did not accept any major credit cards. Appearently this company does not exist contrary to their website stating the main office is in Los Angeles. We just met one young philipino lady whom was very nice at the bigining and once she collected all our money in cash, we could not find or locate the main office. Only one phone number wch she always answred. Finaly She started getting very rude and except email and calls to her, no one else available to hear our complaint. Cant find anyone above her. Now we know why they do not accept credit cards and only cash!
