Helly Hansen Will not honor warranty Solgaard Skog 139, N-1599 MOSS Norway

Helly Hansen supposedly has a lifetime warranty. After numerous calls and e-mails, I only got a response saying they would not warranty a fabric defect.
Here is their (worthless) warranty policy:
All Helly Hansen technical outerwear garments (HellyTech, HellyTech XP and Hellytech O2) are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. Helly Hansen footwear is covered up to 1 year against defects in materials and workmanship. This policy does not cover normal wear and tear on the product.
