I purchased a temperpedic bed which I am very happy with.
Temperpedic set up financing through HELP CARD HC Processing Center hccredit.
I made payments, then there was a problem.
I went to the web site to make an on line payment.
The payment was due on 9-25-2006, it was 9-22-2006.
I made a payment of $400.00 the min due was $72.00 (approx)
Then I get my next bill in the mail and there are all kinds of charges on my bill.
$35.42 for Intrest
$2.50 monthly fee
$39.00 Delinquency Charge
$206.88 DFI Recharged Intrest.

This was suppossed to be 12 months no intrest financing.

I called them they were very stern on the phone, sorry your payment was 1 day late.
Late?
I made it on your web site, then I was told that it can take up to 2 business days to process the payment.
I said so what it is on your site and you can see that I made a payment.
Then they ask me for the cancelled check?
what check it was made on line.
They forward me to a supervisor of which you get a voice mail and then a letter in the mail.
The letter states that if I have a check to show they will talk to me???
There is nobody there to talk to execpt the operator.
This month I paid the entire balance off because I was worried that there would be more charges.

I want my money back from these people. $283.80 OF Charges that I should not have to PAY.

In reference to the statement of "no interest financing", are you sure it wasn't "pay no interest for one year" to which most companies backload that years interest onto the balance?

The rest I can not help you with other than the comments about the check are ridiculous. Did you print out the receipt of your transaction when you paid online? That may be your only help in recourse.
