Hemingway Consulting; Mark Price-Cydcor Waste of time, scam, low pay, deceptive practices, cult behavior Milwaukee Wisconsin

When I began working for this company,I was sold on the dream of hard work actually meaning a heavy pay off. I came in for an interview as a recent college grad looking for a great opportunity. The first round was with the president of the company: mark price. He was very vague as to what the actual job responsibilities entailed, but went on and on about all of the wealth that he had accrued in his short time of working with the company. He invited me back for a second round interview. I agreed, even though I left more confused than I had been when I went in.

I came back the next day and interviewed with a girl. She was very professional and passionate, but when she went over the pyramid scheme style of the job and it's responsibilities I grew hesitant about accepting the position with this company. When she went over what I grew to know as the "business breakdown" I was sold on the dream of financial freedom through hard work. I accepted the position against my better judgement and I spent a long time wasting my time and money with this company.

The longer I stuck with the company, the deeper I felt myself becoming involved in the sunk cost fallacy. Even though the position was 100% commission, my worries were lessened by the promise that reps made between $600 and $800. In reality, the highest check I  ever had was around 700, but that was twice during my time with the company. My paychecks averaged between $100 and $300. My credit has been completely ruined because not only was I making jack for cash, but then we are expected to pay gas, pay for lunches for interviews, pay for mandatory team nights, and we are reimbursed for NONE of those expenses.

I had to set aside between $100 and $200 just to cover these expenses that hardly ever had anything to do with me and my actual job. I was unable to for basic necessities such as rent, groceries, or anything else. management uses manipulation and threats to keep employees around. If you think about quitting or ask any kind of questions you are immediately written of as negative, stupid, or my favorite: "unable to recognize the opportunity"

Frequent manipulations used by the company: if you quit, you're weak. If you don't make a certain amount per week, you're weak. What else could you possibly do to ever make Money? Don't you want to buy your future children whatever they need?

I tried to quit FOUR separate times. Mark would not only threaten me and my welfare if I quit, but he'd also verbally berate me. He would try to convince me that verbal abuse and threats are part of corporate America and that if I couldn't out up with it now, my life would be a life full of failure and regret.  My only regret is that I let his psycho manipulation tactics work on me as long as they did. He still has the sales rep that hired me convinced that she will never do anything better with her life because she is too stupid for any other career and she deserves the worst verbal abuse of any employee.

There are zero benefits. ZERO. even when you move up in the business. It's a joke. Every cost comes out of pocket. If you move to a different city for the business, no belp from the company.

The business is advertised as financial freedom and owning your own business, but guess what? You're still under slimy, sketchy, scammy Cydcor. They control everything you do, fill your head with the things you should say, and convince you that any other life path will be paved with disappointment and financial failure.

Any employee who has been there more than a month will put on a face of joy and success, but ask them how much money they have? Ask them the last time they got to go out for dinner and not feel guilty about it because they're not sure how much is in their bank account, ask them how long they have been with the business and have had a difficulty building a team.

they will say it's not for everyone, but it's not for everyone because only about 1% of the employees are successful. Read any other review about hemingway consulting, instile acquisitions, team one Chicago, kd concepts, or just cydcor in general and you will see what a scam and a waste of time.

This is just a place that tries to get people involved in money juggling schemes. The correspondence I received on the phone and in the mail was unprofessional. (Caller would not tell me company and letter had no letter head and was a mess to read.) Everything about his company reeks of a scam, it was shocking to see that it is actually a real company. Low brow and shady.

Some of these anonymous complaints about our organization were obviously written with a strong distaste and almost hatred towards our company.  After investigating who may have written these, we concluded only one was actually an employee of our company who is no longer with the company.   All the others were people that never made it through our interview process.  It is not an easy position that fits well for everyone, thus why we have an extensive interview process.

If we were a "scam", why would some of the largest known companies choose to work with us, including one of the largest telecommunication Company in North America?

Low pay well we have guys/ girls that make well over $1000.00 a week that work hard and are here each day to get the job done. Each person that we bring on are given the tools to be successful and that all up to them. We do not micro manage any of our employees and that the part that some people are used to getting. The person that wrote this report was not someone that we wanted around our company.

It's unfortunate, any ex-employee that leaves our organization, we try to leave on a good note. However, when someone is terminated, they’re usually upset about it.  If you read on, you will notice there are also a lot of good comments about our organization as well. Complaint boards are public gripe sites for people to complain to anyone who will listen.  Try typing other companies like FORD, GM or even McDonalds into that site. Moving forward before you make a judgment about any company, I encourage you to ask more questions and not believe everything you see on the internet.

If complaints like these stray your decision in applying for potential employment in the future, we wish the best of luck.

Sincerely,

HR Department
