Complaint Review: henri's Cloud Nine

 I am writing this as a warning to all of the people out there that want to shop at henri's cloud nine. I am a victim and I surely don't wnat you to become one as well.

Purchased 2 desingner dresses on line from their website and received them today. When I opened the package I thought I receied somebedy's else pacakge. There was a heavy odor that came out of the packge right the way.

First of all, it was very easy to notice right the way that the original tags on both dresses were missing. Then , as obvious that they were used and damaged(Terani) - The other one was jus used and heavily odored.

I was thinking- well , I need to talk to these people as they sent me the wrong stuff.

Called them and I was told by the receptionist that the person in charge is not available and will call me back.

About 2 hours later or so she calls me back and I explained the situation. She simply told me she can't do anything, that their dresses come from wearhouse and they are used but not damaged. I offered to send pictures with the damage(it was burnt like with the iron at the bottom of the dress-a very big wrinkle part).I was told that I need to talk to the manager and sent away.

 So I called back to talk to one. And I was able to hear things that I have never heard before.

She basically told me first that she did not get the pictures, then found them. Apparently was saying that the damage is boning- there is no boning at the bottom of the dress or in that style.

And to top it off she simply told me, I quote: ' that it is the risk you take when you shop on the website' and 'purchase a dress on sale'.

First of all, that is wrong- I can give you websites newyorkdresses.com and prom girl . com where you would find dresses on sale that are 70% off and they come in brand new condition with tags on and mint condition, and they stand behind their merchandise.

Henri's cloud nine is a scam . And they know how to use teh system well. They are doing it sistematically and simply put there is no one there to stop them. I am committed this time to put an end to this practice.  After I talked to  the manager there today(Marianne- I believe- not so sure) I realized that she had this well prepared, has done it several times.

I can prove with pictures  the condition of the dresses they sent to me. I will take which ever legal way I can to adress this issue at this point. I am willing to fight for consumer's rights online. I don't  believe they are an authorized dealer for the name brands they carry. Also they seem to advertize it that way. Also using designers pictures iis basically illegal . If they sell used merchandise, they need to build their own  website with the actual merchandise they are selling. Using a false image to trick people into buying things is not only wrong, but also illegal. And that is what this store does. Be aware and do not shop here.
