Henry Ford Village Retirement Home & Assisted Living Big Dollars To Move out Dearborn Michigan

Upon move in at Henry Ford Village I made the mistake of NOT fully reading the contract, I assumed when the rental agent told me what each section said was true. I am now moving out and am being told, I would owe 3 months rent for notice, and another 3 months rent for the non resident fee. Yes 6 months rent for not being there. AND when the apartment is rented again I get to pay for new carpet and painting of what ever the new owner wants. When I moved in they offered this to me, but they never said the prior tenent was paying only that it was free.

Read your contract fully. Do not take the word of their agent.
