Complaint Review: Henry Kiner

Henry Kiner accepted a job with an agreement to do the work and be paid in full upon completion. A few days into the job he insisted that he could not go any further with the project because he used all of his money and he need to buy more materials. Even though it was against better judgement, he was provided with 1/4 of the amount of the job then a contract was written and signed by Henry Kiner stating that he would not receive any more funds until the job was complete. A couple of days after that he became really agitated and agressive saying that he needed more money because again he was in a bind and he needed to pay his mortgage and he needed to pay his employees....at this time he was given a FIRM no! He was told that he would be paid in full upon completion of the job. He stated that we would be done the next day and wanted to be paid. Upon my arrival on the next day, the job was not 100% complete, but it was close with the exception of sheet rocking and painting the project and a couple of minor things, that once he was paid, he assured me that he would show up the next day to complete everything. WELL, he went straight to the bank that day and cashed the check and I have not seen or heard from him or his crew. They removed all of their belongings and the job is NOT finished and the work is not professional at all, it looks like they used remanants of leftover wood and pieced them together to build what I requested. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES.

I wish I would have researched him before I gave him his payment.
