I had an accident on Friday. The sheriff called Henry's Wrecker Service to tow my car. The towing company never gave me a business card. I didn't even know they would be open on Saturday. So on Monday we dealt with insurance. Wednesday when I called the towing service, they said they are charging me $150 for towing, $50/day for 6 days my car has been there and $125 administration fee.

Everybody should open a towing company!

I called the police and police talked to them on the phone. They said you should call 703-698-8900 to find out what the administration fee is about. So the cop called and that number told him he should call the 1st number. So the cop called again and talked to a guy named Bob. Bob stopped charging the $125 administration but changed the $150 towing fee to $174. He also reduced the # of days to 5, but it's still unfair. I wasn't informed they were open on Saturday. He said, "My driver always gives out business card." Well, this time he didn't!

Now I still "owe" them $424. I'm going to small claims court to get the money back.

Here's more: My husband talked to a car repair service. They said Henry's won't let any body shops to come in and estimate the cars.

You said: He also reduced the # of days to 5, but it's still unfair. I wasn't informed they were open on Saturday.: SO They reduced the charge for the # of days you were there (Saving you $50) waived the admin fee (Saving you $125) and you STILL want to whine...IT'S NOT FAIR! When they took the car, did you ask for any contact info? did you bother to write down who was taking your car or did you just hand over the keys? You obviously have a computer were your hands broke? NO, Then why were you not able to look up their phone number and ASK them if they were open on Saturday? Stop your Whining!
