Complaint Review: Herb Connolly Motors Body Shop

Herb Connolly Motors Body Shop Manager under deliver promisses, lies and takes over 2 months to replace 1 bumper, 1 airbag and 4 wheels! I didn't get a courtesy car but, ripped-off! Framingham Massachusetts

In March of 2004 my automobile was brought to Herb Connolly Motors' Body Shop department to have the following replacements done: 1 bumper, 1 airbag and 4 wheels.

The Manager tells me it would take about a couple of weeks to replace everything and check for any more damages.

After 3 weeks had gone by and no phone calls, I call them to find out when would my vehicle be ready. "The following Tuesday" they replied. On the following Tuesday, I learned that my car would be ready yet on the following Tuesday but no later than Wednesday.

This story repeated itself week after week until a month and a half had gone by. I was then finally notified my car was ready. But before I got there I received a call from the manager telling me one of my windows was accidentally broken. Its replacement would take another 5 days...

Five days later I called them and then they told me the window could actually take up to 10 days (so another 5 days) before it was replaced because it was being shipped from out of state...

In conclusion Herb Connolly is a nice, family owned business. They have an excellent sales and service department however one can't find enough bad words in the dictionary to describe their body shop's unprofessionalism, lack of courtesy and care and deceiving business culture.
