I purchased a engine for my 1996 jaguar vanden plas from this company on eBay. The posting stated that this engine was "Used: An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used. See the sellers listing for full details and description of any imperfections." This description was obviously a lie. Their website also states that all engines and transmissions are all tested to be 100% functioning and performing the way they should and I quote from their webs tie, "Your item will have been thoroughly tested, removed professionally, inventoried correctly, packaged carefully, and shipped promptly. If a problem ever does occur and the need arises, you have friendly staff, package tracking, insurance, and a 90 day warranty waiting to solve it." This too is obviously another lie. Once my mechanic received the engine a month after when the posting said it would arrive, he installed it and drove my car to find that it was running low on power. After stress testing the engine at my expense, he found that 3 of the 6 cylinders were significantly low on compression. I immediately contacted eBay and Heritage Auto to file a complaint. I contacted heritage by telephone and email and never received a response. eBay stated that they also attempted to contact the company with no response. eventually I finally got in contact with the company via telephone and spoke with kaleb. He stated that he would look into this and call me back.2 weeks have passed and kaleb has yet to call me back. this company is either incompetent or they could care less about their customers. Either way, dealing with this company has set me back financially and inconvenienced my mechanic also. This is definitely the worst customer service I have ever received from a company and this will be the first and last time I ever deal with Heritage Auto parts.

From his title you can see the quality of the person fililng this report.  This report is nothing but false.  Customer ran the motor hot and blew the headgaskets due to not fixing cooling problem that destroyed his first motor. Mechanic noted on the instalation invoice that "against advise customer turned down replacing thermostat, external water water pump, and radiator".

My eBay user ID is heritageautoparts. You can look us up we are an eBay Top Rated Seller which is the highest achievement that can be maintained on eBay.  eBay reviewed the case and turned the customer down due to conversations with his mechanic which clearly stated that buyers negligence caused engine failure.  Customer then has tried every avenue, inluding this one, to try and damage our reputation.

Thanks
Heritage
