Complaint Review: HERITAGE CAPITAL MORTATAGE

we went to this broker for help in securing a first time home-buyers mortage, this began in 11/06 we wre found by them thru the inter-net , they claimed to be able to help us secure our loan now when we went we told them that i am on social security, but they claimed to use me because of credit scores so we wait three weeks and the process falls through and now they continue to have us in limbo for i more month and tell us that if my husband clears up items on report we could secure a loan so we wait another three weeks and hear nothing never return phone calls when I call they would question why was i calling? in the meantime we pay for title insurance of $1000.00, secure home-owners insurance, so another month passes and we decide to go to office and they again give us excuses so now we pay for apprasial of $300.00 thinking we are going to secure property, but now we get an extension on property which was 3/31/06, so we decide to secure our own loan and finally we get one through the V.A. which we requested in the beginning because guess what? my husband is one but they told us we couldn't qualify, because of his credit scores. but now it's too late because house is no longer avaiable to us because of wait. apprasier now has our $300.00 was told broker should have paid for this not us.
