Complaint Review: Heritage Firearms Nashua

I purchased a firearm on saturday 4/7/02. They took payment of $445.00 and then told me to call back on monday when the background check went through at the state. I called monday several times, no return phone call. I finally threatened to pull the charge with my charge card company. I finally got a phone call 10 minutes after that.

Stating that the background check hasn't been processed yet, and that they will call me when it has been processed. The next day (tuesday) I recieve a phone call from them stating that my background check cleared, and I was told that he'll be there until 5pm. I left work at 3:30pm and showed up there at approximately 4:15pm and he wasn't there. At this point I was quite upset, and left a message on their machine that they better show up within the half hour otherwise I would fill out this report.

I waited around until 5pm they didn't show up, so I left. After them wasting my time, and effort. I surely hope anyone reading this would take two things away from it.

1. NEVER pay fore a firearm until your background check has cleared, otherwise the business could care less if you come to pick it up or not, after it has been paid for.

2. Never step foot into Heritage Firearms unless you intend on being mistreated.

Their business hours state on their door that they are open until 5pm 7 days a week.
