Heritage Web Solutions - Heritage Web Design - Heritage Internet Technologies HIT, Heritage Web Solutions I put a $250 deposit on a website from Heritage Internet Technologies on 11/09/2009. I requested a refund on 12/02/2009 because no work had been done Provo, Utah
I put a $250 deposit on a website from HIT Heritage Internet Technologies on 11/09/2009. I called daily afterwards to find out when were they going to get the needed information from me to start constructing my website. I was continuously given the run around from the sales and design department. Finally I noticed they weren't going to do any work on the site so I requested a refund from them on 12/02/2009. On 12/11/2009 Carlos, from Customer service, sent me an email stating "After a review of your account, we have determined that there is a $250 refund available to you. This is in accordance with the Terms of Service (TOS) accepted on the account 2007-11-16". On 12/15 I contacted Carlos inquiring about the refund process and length of time. Carlos stated, "Refunds get taken in the order they are received, but I assure you that we do them as quickly as possible. As for the form, if we cannot put it back to the credit card for any reason, then we will cut a check and mail it to you". I called back the same day and spoke to the accounting department who stated that my refund would be put on an expedited list. I called back today, 12/29/2009 and inquired about my refund and was told that they do not have a time frame for processing refunds; it could be another month or two. My complaint is, Just like they took my money immediately out of my account, they should credit it back to me in a reasonable amount of time. It is not my fault they couldn't perform the requested job.
