Heritage Web Solutions Poor design work, will not refund money Provo, UT Utah
Heritage Web Solutions sold me a "full package" - button mouseovers, flash animations... The works (I was told)... I just needed the homepage of my website to look slick and beautiful...
I was to pay $300 up front and $300 upon completion of work... It was agreed upon that NO hosting charges would be charged because I have my own dedicated server...
They ended up charging me for a full year of hosting as well as the $300
upon completion... Except - they never completed...
They delivered some of the poorest work I have ever come across.
I highly and strongly recommend NOT using Heritage Web Solutions.
Use a free lance place like rentacoder.com and you are much less likely to get scammed and taken of your money. (You'll probably get much better design work done as well)
I have sold millions of dollars of digital software and information on the internet and you should value my opinion...

Mr. Horne never gave Heritage a chance to address his concerns, instead he came to the table expecting the worst, threatening us with the BBB and other things. I believe Mr. Horne was unfairly prejudiced against Heritage due to unfair and incorrect information that can be found on this site and others. The truth is, any company of significant size has derogatory press, whether justified or not. In reality, no threat was needed. We would have refunded Mr. Horne's money without any extraordinary measures on his part.
Whenever Heritage has a client that has concerns we take care of those concerns in the best and fastest possible manner. We care about all our client's - even those who choose to cancel their services with us. Whenever we come to that point we try to err on the side of being fair towards the client. With that said, however, Heritage is a business, in business to provide a quality product with quality customer service. We would always rather work through the customer's concerns in order to develop a satisfactory business relationship with them. With the low prices we offer, there is no other way we can make money other than to develop a long-term relationship with our client's.
What Mr. Horne and others reading these posts don't see are the, quite literally, thousands of customers that go through our process every year happy, content and satisfied with a quality website. Do we have problems from time to time? Of course. There is no perfect business. The web design field is essentially an artistic process that there is no way to quantify. There's no way, when making custom sites, you can get it down to an exact science. Combine that with the large volume of business Heritage does every year and, unfortunately, you will come across individuals who are not happy with anything we do.
Ironically, the true measure of Heritage's reputation is found with the BBB. If you want to know the true character and integrity of Heritage, I would invite you to review our record with the Better Business Bureau. Heritage is a company with over 15,000 clients. In our entire history as a company, we have had less than 1% of our clients complain to the BBB. More remarkable, Heritage does not have one single unresolved BBB complaint.

I have been notified that I will be receiving a full refund from Heritage Web Solutions...
I still highly recommend for you to NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR DESIGN WORK.
