Don't every trust Heritage Web Solutions to design your site! Heritage will sucker you in by offering you a 5 page custom made site for $200.00. Sounds like a good deal right? Wrong? It took them roughly a month to set me up with a 4 page website :( They also want to nickel and dime you to death for web contact forms over a certain length. What really sets Heritage Web Solutions apart though is they tried to bill me for a site that was not even on the internet much less completed!

It gets even better. The website that Heritage Web Solutions did create for me looked like it came from a children's coloring book? It amazes me that a company that supposedly does unique custom websites could stay in business for so long? I would have been better off using a template from (((ROR redacted link)))

If you think this is enough to make you upset don't bothering asking for any type of refund! Customer service is non-existent and they will gladly ignore you. If you want real experts to work on your site go to (((ROR redacted competitor's name))). That way you will not be paying Heritage Web Solutions to ignore your needs.

HERITAGE BLASTS RIPOFFREPORT.COM, ARE THEY SCARED?

HERITAGE RECENTLY POSTED A PRESS RELEASE QUESTIONING THE INTEGRITY OF RIPOFFREPORT.COM HERITAGE NEEDS A REALITY CHECK RIPOFFREPORT.COM IS A MUCH NEEDED PUBLIC SERVICE

. Do not always take someone else's complaint at face value. There are complaint websites such as Rip Off Reports and Complaints Board, that allow people to post anything they want, whether it is factual or not. They do not verify who the person is or if the complaint is valid. There are even some competitors that will go as far as to post defamatory and fictitious information under fake names on complaint sites. Most responsible websites will remove such posts. The bottom line is do your homework. Give the company a fair review. Complaint websites are not always what they

I doubt that they will go anywhere. They have a horrible reputation with their ex employees. They are all about quantity, they could care less about quality. Their managers push to get over 30 live a day, 30! They want a design (banner and layout) done in 30 minutes, and the HTML page done within 20 minutes, for every site! How can you get good quality work with that? Once a client has "approved" their site, and maybe a couple days later wants a change, good luck, it takes at least 2-3 weeks to get the easiest things taken care of. They are understaffed for the ammount of clients they hold. They are a cheap company, paying designers crap for what they get put through. They won't hire more to cover what they need, instead they will overwhelm their employees. After working with them for over a year I would strongly reccomend to anyone not to use their company. Look somewhere else. Smaller companies might not be as well known, but chances are they have more one on one time with you in providing a good website.

Heritage is not a fun environemnt to work at. I personally worked there for a year, if it wasn't for a great boss that I loved then I probably wouldn't have stayed. I felt over worked and under paid. They have a lot of clients, Heritage needs to hire more people to cover their clientel. Heritage asks that every designer finish a design (layout and banner) in 30 minutes, and the HTML on the page in 20. It's hard to give quiality work when your on a time frame.

You did just what they wanted you to, retract your complain even after hundreds of people are getting scammed because people like you just want to get their money back. They only paid you because of your blog(which I told you they would do if you wnet public) tell the truth they wouldn,t give you the time of day till you spoke with us and you went public. they are afraid of the lost business and you had to promise to retract you public complaint in order to get your refund. They never did provide you with what you first paid for did they?

HWS Update! Mark Gave Me Full Refund :)

#7Author of original report

Mon, August 21, 2006

Update To HWS complaint.

I'm posting a quick update to my original complaint submitted on 8/7/200. I have since email and talked to one of the owners Mark Strong. He has agreed to give me a 100% refund.

Second, I would like to acknowledge some of the mistakes that were made on my part with regards to my complaint. First, I should have asked for a supervisor or the owner(s) of HWS before posting on RipOffReports and waited 5 business days for a return email/phone call in regards to my complaints. Also I should have clearer on what I expected from Heritage Web Solutions on my website and should have addressed situations that came up immediately eg. Billing, Website Design, etc.

Here is an email I got from Mark:

Mr. Tarbox,

Your concerns have just come to my attention. I tried to reach you by phone but ended up leaving a voice message.

As one of the owners of Heritage Web Solutions I want you to know it is my commitment to treat all of our customers fairly, and to maintaining a good and reputable image in our industry.

Please, respond back to this email with what you feel is the fair thing to do and I will follow up with your request.

Sincerely,

Mark Strong
Owner/Heritage Web Solutions

Mark had has done right by me and I have no complaints I'm sorry to hear about Rick passing away and I pray that any unresolved issues between Rick and HWS will dissolve peacefully.
