I need help i just bought a 1999 ford windstar and i must say i understand all the problems. We bought it in sept of 2002 it's now jan 2003 with only 43,000 miles on it. Now the first problem was with the automatic mirrors they didn't work. I called the dealer they said they'd get back to me never did. No biggie just mirrors, the next thing was the right side automatic door stopped working, I called the dealer they said they'd reach the sales person and return the call. Never happened.

Then around Dec the check charging system light kept comming on, Once again i called the dealer this time alot peed off if you know what i mean. This time i was told someone would return the call . I instead got in the van and drove to the dealer demanding to talk to someone.

Finally i found out why noone called me back my salesman had quit in Nov. Now i am told they can't do anything they showed only a 30 day warentee on it. ell this takes all i am paying 412.00 a month for 5 yrs, for crap. Last night i pulled out the driveway and the tranny dropped. All this in less then 6 months. This is it, If anyone out there has any idea who i can contact or call on this PLEASE email me, I need help i can't afford 2,000.00 to replace this tranny.
