Hertz rental car Purco fleet services After returning home after renting a hertz car in rapid city, I received a letter stating they would be filing a claim due to hail damage. There was no damage and had been no hail. Funny how when we refused "their" insurance, the gal cautioned us by saying, "are you sure, because there's been a lot of hail damage in the area and you would be liable". I instructed my insurance not to pay because this was fraudulent but they said it would cost them more to fight it. That leaves me paying $500 deductible which I refuse to pay. While visiting South Dakota with my mother we rented a car from Hertz rental cars from the rapid city airport location. When checking out, the gal asked if we wanted their insurance like they always do. I said no. After which she said " are you sure because there has been a lot if hail damage in the area" .
We we dropoed off the vehicle without anyone checking it in and went home.
