Complaint Review: Hertz rental car

Hertz rental car Purco fleet services After returning home after renting a hertz car in rapid city, I received a letter stating they would be filing a claim due to hail damage. There was no damage and had been no hail. Funny how when we refused "their" insurance, the gal cautioned us by saying, "are you sure, because there's been a lot of hail damage in the area and you would be liable". I instructed my insurance not to pay because this was fraudulent but they said it would cost them more to fight it. That leaves me paying $500 deductible which I refuse to pay. I was totally set up for this rip off scam! Spanish fork Utah

While visiting South Dakota with my mother we rented a car from Hertz rental cars from the rapid city airport location. When checking out, the gal asked if we wanted their insurance like they always do.  I said no. After which she said " are you sure because there has been a lot if hail damage in the area" . 

We we dropoed off the vehicle without anyone checking it in and went home.

surprise, a couple weeks later I get a letter in the mail stating they were filing a claim due to hail damage. I instructed my insurance company not to pay because this was fraudulent and they said it would cost more to fight it. That leaves me paying $500 deductible. I refuse to pay a fraudulent claim!  HELP
