Hess Kennedy Company, Consumer Law Center $26,000, No Action, No Response, Now State of Florida wants to keep the money Coral Springs Florida
Lost lucrative income due to injury. Needed help, and drowning in debt. CCC of A put me in contact with Hess Kennedy. They set up a payment schedule and we signed a contract. Received a letter of welcome, then we started playing phone tag.
Unlike some folks, I chose to pay with Money Orders and kept my receipts. It didn't make much of a difference, because after 33 months, and paying over $26,000, I received a summons to appear in court on one of the debts they were suppose to be negotiating.
Phone tag again. Then I find out that Hess Kennedy had been placed in receivership. Have to file a claim with the receiver to recoup my money. Uh-Oh. Receiver says that it doesn't look good, and probably won't recoup very much, IF ANY!
Receiver also contacted my debtors to let them know that I was fair game again. So now, to keep from losing home and what little I have to show for years of hard work, I must now file for bankruptcy, which was what I had hired Hess Kennedy to help me prevent.
Way to go. This really boosts my faith in lawyers.
