I have bought two HP wide screen laptops from Costco. The screens of both are easily broken.

Luckily one of them is still within warranty. I called HP help desk and a representative asked me to send the laptop back for fixing. Not only HP did not fix the problem, they even broke my keyboard. Then HP sent back to me the completely dead laptop after one month waiting. When I called them again, HP promises to fix but no action has been taken after many months waiting.

My suggestion: never buy HP wide screen laptop!
