As indicated in numerous sites and blogs on the internet I too am a victim of Hewlett Packards disregard in responding to known defective merchandise they sold to the public. A recall and repair of these problems should have been issued

I purchased an HP TX1219US in the summer of 2007.

In the spring of 2009 the Broadcom Wifi became inoperable.

(I purchased a wireless USB to fix what would have been a time consuming and repetitive problem had I gone through HP)

Now its November of 2009 and the monitor no longer works. This laptop is a paperweight now.

The issue of the Nvidia chipset being defective caused most likely by overheating has been reported to HP. HP denies any issues regarding this. (along with the 6000 and 9000 series computers)

I am out of warranty and it is not worth it to repair this computer. I am available for a class action lawsuit to keep these snake oil salesmen in check. HP is a company that should know better than to do this.
