Hewlett Packard - HP Pavillion Notebook Computer - defective wireless switch Palo Alto California
I purchased an HP Laptop from Office Depot. The wireless switch became defective after around 1 year. I returned to Office Depot and confirmed that their display model laptop had the same defective switch - it doesn't click into place so the wireless connect is easily lost. I contacted HP and they told me it would cost $298 to repair. I agreed to have them refund to me and all consumers $298 or asked they recall the product, the technician on the other end didn't seem to agree to that, so I asked him to elevate that.
If 1,000,000 people purchased this computer, it is a $298,000,000 loss to consumers if all computers have the same defect.
Next time I'll first look at Toshiba, Fujitsu, ACER, Leveno, Gateway...
