HP sold a defective computer, a dv6200. When the screen failed, I brought it to a computer repair place. They told me the video card had failed and there was a fix from HP for free. When I contacted HP they said it ran out a month ago (which was actually only a week after the screen failed. I asked why they wouldn't let me know there was a problem, as they had all my information from warranty registration. They said I should have checked their website. They would only fix it if I paid for it.
