I purchased a DV6000 HP Pavilion laptop computer back in November, at a local store in Utah called RC Willey. Paid cash for it. They promised a $ 50 rebate from HP I never got. After that, everything on the computer went downhill.

The computer stopped working a month after I got it. I took it to customer service at the store and they could not find what the problem was. The store finally sent it to HP and they returned 2 weeks after, "saying" it was fixed. Took the computer home and a week after it stopped working.

I had my attorney check the terms of the warranty and she said since it was a recurring problem, they (HP) had to REPLACE THE UNIT. Not fixed, REPLACE. I contacted HP personally and my case got scalated to a guy named Carlos Salinas. He was unhelpfull since the very begining. Not only he said he was not going to replace the unit but every time I called back with a piece of information he requested, he gave me the round arounds and I still have not been able to get a box sent to me to ship the computer back.

I just don't know what else to do. Please refer me to the proper authorities
