I'm a former employee of Hezi Torati. He is the owner of National Short Sales. He is also an owner or affilated with these real estate/broker companies: National Short Sales Torati Holdings Timberline Holdings Seagroup Properties Skyline Best Nest Hezi Torati is a talented con artist. He is responsible for a number of financial crimes including short sale fraud, loan modication fraud, and check fraud. He preys on individuals in foreclosure and thats experiencing financial hardship/distress. He manipulates these individuals buy an enticing them with a $5000-$10,000 payoff upon selling their property. Hezi attempts to sell these properties by committing bank fraud. He presents the bank with a short sale package and a buyers contract under the companies listed above. He is the buyer and the seller (this is illegal). The bank is unaware of this transaction because he submits several other contracts under the other company names listed above. The bank does not know that these companies are eithier owned by Hezi or they are directly affiliated with him. On the Hud 1, he does not list the individuals that he's paying out. This is also illegal as well. Hezi is also responsible for check fraud. If he promises to pay you, YOUR CHECK WILL BOUNCE. There are several check cashing agencies looking for him. Hezi is also opening a Loan modification company. Please be aware of him, he will promise you money and not pay you. He gave me several bad checks resulting in my Chase account being closed and my Bank of America account accumulating overdrawn fees and return check fees. Hezi is very manipulative, slick, and is a con artist. He is responsible for elaborate bank short sale/loan modication/ and check schemes. Do not believe a word he says. I alerted the banks that he attempted to defraud and notified the FINCEN and the OCC. I just googled "Hezi Torati", someone I've provided service to before, I regret I didn't see this before. Same case, numerous bounced checks, none payment in the end. They are moved (from 2nd flr) to the 6th floor now-heard was some conflict with building landlord, last I heard. Same location. Now I got a beef with the one recommended him to me in the first place! Well, I need to find this beef so I won't be fooled again. Good luck trusting this guy.

Hezi Torati is still a FRAUD!
He contacted me last month through a mutual friend. He told me that he wanted to resolve our dispute and to pay me the money that is owed. He also requested that after the money is paid up, that I update my ripoff report.
I met with Hezi on the 1st week of December. He asked me If I can update the ripoff report page asap, because "he's losing a lot of business because of it." He told me that he didn't have the money now (surprise), but he PROMISES to pay me next week. I didn't trust him at all, but I decided to go ahead and update my ripoff report in good faith.
Its been almost 6 weeks since I met with him, and I still have not received my money. Every single week he promises to pay, but I realized that he has absolutely no intentions of ever paying me back.
Hezi Torati is FRAUD! Do not trust him! The "employee" that wrote the previous update was actually his new girlfriend... do business with Hezi at your own risk!!!

I'm writing again to provide an update in regards to Hezi Torati and his business. This update serves as a retraction to my original post. I was furious at the time when i wrote this. I recently had the opportunity to meet with Hezi Torati and the issue has been resolved.
Hezi is not running an illegal/unethical business and the payment dispute has been resolved.
If ripoffreport.com allowed me to delete the original post, I most definitely would. I apologize for the misunderstanding as well as any damages done to his reputation. I wish him the best in his future endeavors.

I was hired by Hezi several months ago not as a full time employee, but to work on some special projects. When I first started working, I was extremely wary of him because of this report. Im sure many people, both prospective employees and potential clients, are as well.
As one might expect, I was very careful of everything I did with him because I did not want to do anything illegal or get hurt in another capacity. I watched every move he made, looking for a slip up, looking specifically for the activities outlined in the report. I scrutinized his character and business practice for months before deciding to write this rebuttal. It took a very long time for him to earn my trust. And my only conclusion is that NONE of what is written in the above report is true.
Hezi pays his office full of employees and servicers before he himself is paid. He has a happy, loyal team and a business that has grown 300% each year that it has been in business solely because of his dedication to his clients and his talent. This growth is in spite of this slanderous online report, which says a lot. He deals with banks and lawyers every day, all day, working on behalf of his clients. If there were anything illegal in his actions, they would take action against him. There simply isnt.
While I debated whether or not to dignify this poorly written, amateurish complaint by a single bitter former employee, I decided it was necessary. It hurt me to see someone who has been so generous to me and such an example of all things good in business damaged because of it. The fact that this report was published and has colored his name is truly unfortunate.

At 6:52pm Hezi Torati called me and made threats to me. He said:
"you f**king b***h! You better watch your back! You should leave new york if you know whats good for you, YOU f**kING b***h!"
Apparently he googled his name and he saw this report. I already made a report to FINCEN and the OCC. Because of the threats, i'm also making a police report on him.
What kind of a men threatens a woman like that?
