hhgregg Another hhgregg ripoff Hoover, Alabama
Whirpool refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and microwave purchased from hhgregg on 11/21/2010. Appliances were delivered on 11/22/2010. It appeared the refrgerator door did not fit and told delevery man. Delivery man said it should "settle in" in the next couple of days.
On 4/8/2011 the refrigerator stopped cooling and lost everything inside. Same date called Glenn Brown, the store manager at hhgregg, and reported the problem. He told ME to call an appliance repair company. Mr. Brown said there was nothing he could do.
On 4/12/2011 the tech came and said door was bent and it would be six to eight weeks. Called Glenn Brown told him. Glenn Brown said he could do nothing. Called Whirpool and told them regrigerator had run continuously from 11/22/2010 to 4/8/2011 and expressed concern that motor and compressor would have excessive ware. As with hhgregg, Whirpool denied any responsibility.
On 5/17/2011 a new door arrived. When the box was opened, the door had a large dent in it. The tech put the dented door on (aleast we had a refrigerator after six weeks of living out of an Igloo cooler)
On 8/8/2011 the new door arrived. However, it had a dent in it!
On 9/6/2011 another "new" door arrived. However, it was the freezer door, not the refrigerator door.
No one takes any responsibility for any of this, however I have had a refrigerator for almost a year and still have a big dent in the door. Only thing I can do is to advise you not to buy Whirlpool appliances frrom hhgregg!
The saga continues.

Too bad you didn't look at Ripoff Reports before you bought

HH Gregg has a lot of reports on them here, and, as a corporation, they have a D rating with the BBB.

That is pretty d**n piss poor for a high profile big box chain store.
Go to the top at Whirlpool and call their executive offices. Regular customer service is useless for this.
If they don't resolve your issue, sue the HH gregg address in small claims for total value and Whirlpool too, assuming your court jurisdiction has any Whirlpool corporate entity addressed there.
