Complaint Review: HHGregg Corporation

HHGregg Corporation ripoff on extended service contract told us they LOST our invoice, even though we had the originals in our hand Fort Wayne Indiana

After purchasing all of our major appliances at HHGregg for our new house, we were advised by the salesman to purchace the 5 year extended service.

We paid an extra $274.00 dollars for this. We have the original invoices. They clearly state that we paid for everything and the ESP ( extended service plan ) entries are seperate line items.

This week our Refrigerator stopped working, we have 3 small children and cannot afford a multiple hundred dollar repair.

When we went into the hhgregg store here in Ft Wayne,In, ( where we purchased over 1500.00 worth of Washer, Dryer and Refrigerator,) and spoke to Chris Wood, the operations manager, he told us they cannot find our invoice in the "system" and even though we had the original invoices ( which he made a copy of) in our hands, he could not schedule a service call.

This is fraud, as the extended service plan was for 5 years. We purchased in 2003.
