Hhgregg ripoff Lexington Kentucky
We have also been ripped off by HHGregg. We bought an $1800 TV from them and a 5-yr extended warranty which we paid $249 for.
After 2 1/2 yrs. the TV quit and we called for service. The first visit from service was almost a week later. They did not have the right part and had to order it, which took another week and a half. The new part did not work, and now they are telling us the next part they will try will be here in about six weeks. Upon calling the corporate office we were told that our warranty had been sold approx. a year ago to GE and HHGregg assumes no liability for the TV now. As of now we are waiting for parts and don't know the outcome of this but DO know that we will never deal with these !@#$% again!!!! It is a shame that my check was so good and their service is so BAD!!
