bouight a garmin gps from hhgregg had it for about 1 year the touch screen stopped working contacted garmin they said to return to store where i purchased it from took product back they replaced it said they were replacing it under my extended warranty then they charged me for a new warranty then raised the price of the warranty this was supposed to be covered under the garmin 1 year warrnty

 First YOU are under the impression that YOU have a warranty with Garmin. THAT is FALSE. What YOU have is a MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY!! Which means the product is warrantied for the quality of the parts used and the build. NOT normal wear and tear that YOU have put on it. YOU leave your garmin in the car where the temp gets as high as 160 degrees is some areas, then YOU wonder WHY your garmin stops working. Then when YOU return the item and the replace it, YOU work under misinformation AND assumption. The problem IS NOT with the retail store you made the purchase from it is YOU and YOUR lack of understanding on HOW and WHAT a warranty covers. It amazes me that dinosaurs like YOU are still around. Your ignorance is almost SHOCKING in its depth.
