June 11, 2011 saw Hi-tech trends ad on Amazon.com internet site.  Ordered GPS (Garmin 1490LMT) for price listed at $119.  I followed their instructions and sent $119 using their requested method (green dot card payment) purchased at Walmart.  Entered the greendot number on their web site and they said item was sold out and would be sent Fri. am June 24th.  All communication with them stopped.  Their 1-866-
571-5445 never let me talk to cust. service but had message machine only.  Later and today it is no longer a working number.  If you run a google search at     www.hi-techtrends.com      you will find hundreds of people saying it is a SCAM SITE!!!!    I found the web site registered to a (Wayne Chang) in Fresno,  Ca   at the address  7675 N 1st St.  Fresno, California  93720.  Bottom line is the fact that it is a SCAM RIP-OFF SITE!!!!  They take your money and don't send the merchandise.  They stole $119 from me and I am on fixed income and don't appreciate this thief getting away with stealing from people trying to survive on fixed income!!!
